Description

This project is an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system designed to improve healthcare data management through a comprehensive patient dashboard and robust backend infrastructure. The system was developed as part of a team effort following Agile/Scrum methodologies, with regular sprint planning and daily standups to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery.

The frontend of the system was developed using Angular 14 with TypeScript, creating a modern, type-safe patient dashboard that allows healthcare providers to view and manage patient information effectively. The dashboard features interactive components that display medical records, patient history, and real-time health data, providing an intuitive interface for healthcare professionals to access critical information quickly.

The backend infrastructure utilizes ASP.NET Core 6 to build RESTful APIs that handle medical records and patient data securely. The system integrates Entity Framework as the ORM (Object-Relational Mapping) framework, enabling efficient database operations and simplifying data access patterns. SQL Server serves as the robust database solution, ensuring reliable storage and retrieval of sensitive medical information while maintaining data integrity and security standards required for healthcare applications.

The project was deployed on Microsoft Azure, leveraging cloud services for scalability, reliability, and secure hosting of the healthcare application. The team collaborated closely using Azure DevOps for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and project management, ensuring smooth coordination across cross-functional teams including developers, healthcare domain experts, and QA engineers.

Throughout the development process, the team participated in regular Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. This Agile approach enabled iterative development, continuous feedback integration, and efficient prioritization of features to meet the evolving needs of healthcare providers and improve overall data management capabilities.
